JANUARY 19th, 2023 - Chris Alexander’s latest movie for the DELIRIUM FILMS imprint (an offshoot of Full Moon Features) PARASITE LADY will go to camera in early February, 2023. The film stars Arrielle Edwards, Thea Munster and Ali Chappell in what is a sort of semi-sequel to Alexander’s GIRL WITH A STRAIGHT RAZOR and SPACE VAMPIRE. PARASITE LADY will release on Amazon Prime, Tubi and the Full Moon Features channel in late March 2023.
DECEMBER 13th, 2022 - British filmmaker Sarah Appleton’s new documentary DREAMING OF DEATH: BOB CLARK’S HORROR FILMS starring Chris Alexander, actors Lynne Griffin, Richard Backus and Art Hindle as well as composer Paul Zaza, is now available as part of the new 4K release of Clark’s CHILDREN SHOULDN’T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS. OCTOBER 15th, 2021 - Production has wrapped on SCREAM OF THE BLIND DEAD, a new feature film written and directed by Chris Alexander for Full Moon’s DELIRIUM Films imprint. The movie is an “impression” of Amando De Ossorio’s iconic 1971 Spanish horror movie TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD, but still very much a “Chris Alexander film”. SCREAM OF THE BLIND DEAD stars Stephanie Delorme (NECROPOLIS: LEGION) and Thea Munster (GIRL WITH A STRAIGHT RAZOR) with special effects by Carlos Henriques. The “Blind Dead” costume was designed and built by Munster, a feminine take on De Ossorio’s legendary Templar Knights. Spanish horror superstar Lone Fleming, who famously starred in TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD, is set to serve as the narrator of the film. Expect a premiere on Full Moon Features and Amazon Prime in early December 2021.

DECEMBER 11th, 2020 - Chris Alexander’s seventh feature film GIRL WITH A STRAIGHT RAZOR is currently in post-production. The film stars Ali Chappell (NECROPOLIS: LEGION) and is the first original genre production from Canadian horror and exploitation film distributor Darkside Releasing with their new partner, Moleman Entertainment, a joint effort to produce and distribute sophisticated independent low budget genre pictures that emphasize style and substance while also delivering more visceral horror elements. October 11th, 2020 - SPACE VAMPIRE and NECROPOLIS: LEGION will both play as part of the South African Horrorfest in Capetown, SA. The films will be screened theatrically and virtually on their global online platform.
September 19th, 2020 - Lionsgate’s Blu-ray release of David Cronenberg’s first horror film, 1975’s SHIVERS, is now available through their revived Vestron Video label. The release features many features produced by Chris Alexander, including a new commentary with Cronenberg, a new commentary with producer Don Carmody (both moderated by Alexander), a featurette with Cronenberg directed by Alexander, a new interview with Greg Dunning and a vintage John Dunning interview, both produced by Alexander.
September 9th, 2020 - Chris Alexander’s SPACE VAMPIRE will have its World Premiere as part of the 2020 Italian Horror Fest. Due to the confines of the pandemic, the Rome-based festival will be available to stream online this Fall. Iconic director Dario Argento will head the Jury and select winners in the short and feature film categories.
July 1st, 2020 - NECROPOLIS: LEGION will be released on Special Edition DVD this July via Full Moon Direct. The DVD will be widely distributed through MVD at most retail and online retail outlets in October.

November 4th, 2019 - European designer Alessandra Tacla and filmmaker Wanda Martin’s short experimental movie A PLOT FOR THE MURDERESS has been published at online fashion magazine Just Magazine. The song “Night Drive” from Chris Alexander’s album MUSIC FOR MURDER provides the soundtrack.
Says Alessandra about the project: “Whilst embracing the (Giallo) genre's idea of emphasizing women's erogenous zones, I twist the film's plot by picturing the female characters as the killers. There's a focus on the language of femininity; a subversion of male-associated elements of clothing (e.g. pinstripes, suits, briefcases) through the use of elements associated to femininity (e.g. lace, yarn).”
